He said, “What we have just done is a collective effort after much deliberations as to the best way to add value to the school that produced us several years ago.
This for us is a social responsibility. We cannot write the history of our lives without tracing it back to Lagos State Model College Kankon, Badagry.
Adebowale reiterated that the group donated two Generating Sets which will be used to pump water into the male and female hostels respectively.
“We had a team that went on an earlier visit to inquire on some of their needs in the school and of all that was listed we decided to embark on this.
In his response to the gesture, the outgoing Principal of the Senior arm of the Model School, Mr Ibikunle Ibitoye, who on behalf of the management expressed his gratitude to the pioneering set for the donation.
He admitted that the school had several needs but was glad that the provision of a generating set will go a long way to alleviate the challenge of getting water into the male and female hostels.
Ibitoye called on other sets to emulate what the Pioneering Set have done while praying that God will further bless everyone in the group and wishing the group the best in all endeavours.
