The Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited (NNPCL) has implemented a significant increase in the prices of petrol (PMS), resulting in a surge of over 200 percent. This adjustment sets the new fuel prices between N488 and N557 per litre, African Voice Magazine reports.
Recently, the NNPCL management sent a revised pricing template to oil marketers, which indicates that the new price adjustment will be effective immediately.
According to the updated pricing template, Lagos State will experience the lowest price at N488 per litre, while Maiduguri and Damaturu will face the highest pump prices of N577 per litre.
It is important to note that this revised pricing template is exclusively applicable to NNPCL retail outlets.
