192views

There are African patriots and there are African patriots, but some differ from others as they go extra length in proving their mettle in the continent’s larger society. For a man to be highly recognized and bestowed with a honour in African context, such a man must have done extremely well by selflessly touching the lives of the many people going through hard times in the continent.  There is no doubting the fact that the African continent is threatened by many ills and obstacles which include social, financial, economic, political etc. All these challenges need collective responsibilities from both successful individuals and corporate entities.

However, one man that has taken it as part of his responsibilities is High Chief Blessing Enyinna Arungwa, a native of Itu Eluma Autonomous Community in Olokoro, Umuahia South Local Government Area of Abia State. He is the Chairman/Chief Executive Officer of Balan Industries Nigeria Limited, a dedicated and resourceful professional with proven track records in business. Chief Arungwa is an alumnus of the prestigious Government College Umuahia and a graduate of Abuja University.

The unflinching commitment of Chief Arungwa to humanity endeared him to the management of African Voice Magazine which bestowed on him the WEST AFRICAN PATRIOTIC LEADERSHIP AWARD.  The event held on the 19th of July, 2020 at the Lungi Multi-Purpose Market in Maitama, Abuja. High Chief Blessing Arungwa was well attended by close associates, family and friends of this shrewd businessman.

He is a man with absolute passion for the poor and vulnerable. He has also ensured he provides for the needy, clothing the unclad, providing shelter to the homeless and putting heavy smiles on the faces of the downtrodden. This boisterous man surely deserves this significant honour and accolade.
